About Tuckered Out Training
Hi, I’m Malasia the owner and head trainer at Tuckered Out Training.
Working with dogs isn’t just my passion, it’s my profession. I have dedicated my career to understanding canine behaviour, developing practical training solutions, and helping owners build confident, balanced relationships with their dogs.
Tuckered Out Training was built from a clear purpose: to provide structured, knowledgeable, and compassionate training support that creates real, lasting change. I work with dogs of all temperaments and behavioural challenges, guiding both the dog and the owner through a process that builds clarity, trust, and reliable skills for everyday life.
My approach is rooted in relationship, play-based training. This means focusing on emotional regulation, a true bond, and clear communication. When dogs understand expectations and feel supported, they are able to succeed, and owners gain the confidence to lead their dogs effectively

Our Team

Elaina
Elaina brings a lifelong passion for dogs into her work, focusing on building confidence, understanding behaviour, and creating enriching experiences for both dogs and their owners.
Growing up with her vizsla, Roxi, and weimaraner, Lacey, she developed a deep connection to dogs that evolved into a passion for training and enrichment. She now shares her life with her rescue shepherd mix, Sayulita, whose journey with reactivity shaped Elaina’s approach. Through Tuckered Out Training, she experienced firsthand how structure, guidance, and empathy can transform both a dog and their owner’s confidence.
Elaina is passionate about helping owners better understand their dog’s emotions and navigate challenges with clarity and confidence.
She is certified in Pet First Aid & CPR and has been working with dogs professionally since 2023.

Sarah
Animals have always been a huge part of m life, and caring for dogs has always come naturally to me. My love for them only grew stronger after rescuing dogs of my own and experiencing firsthand how special the bond between dogs and people can be.
Creating an environment where dogs feel content, confident, and right at home is at the heart of everything I do. Working alongside Malasia has only deepened my passion for dog care and training. Through my own adventure girl, Wave, I also understand how important it is for dogs to have care that keeps them engaged, fulfilled and happy!
Whether it’s adventure walks, overnight stays, daycare, or long-term boarding, my goal is to treat every dog like family while giving owners peace of mind knowing their dog is in the best hands.
I’m passionate about building trust, confidence, and balanced routines for every dog I meet - with training services coming soon.

My professional journey in the pet industry began working in a dog daycare environment, where I gained hands-on experience observing behaviour, group dynamics, and common challenges owners face. During this time, I began pursuing formal education in dog training and behaviour.
Welcoming my own dog Tucker deepened my commitment to this field. Training him highlighted how important consistency, clear communication and playing with your dog are in creating a stable and fulfilled dog. Since then, I have worked with foster rescue dogs, behavioural cases, and a wide range of training goals, from foundational obedience to confidence building and off-leash reliability.
I continue to expand my knowledge through mentorship programs, workshops, and ongoing education because the training field is always evolving. Staying informed allows me to provide effective, ethical, and modern training solutions tailored to each individual dog.

My Professional Approach
My work focuses on helping dogs and owners succeed in real life, not just during training sessions. I guide clients through practical strategies that improve behaviour, reduce stress, and strengthen the relationship between dog and owner.
This includes:
-
Behavioural support for fear, anxiety, aggression and reactivity
-
Foundational obedience and impulse control
-
Confidence building and engagement
-
Structured routines and enrichment planning
-
Off-leash training and real-world reliability
I believe owners deserve clear guidance and honest support. Training should feel achievable, structured, and empowering.

Malasia and her partner are amazing. My 8 year old chihuahua had an injury last fall and had become super reactive to everyone and everything. Since starting once a week day care he has done so well. He is not reactive to other dogs if they leave him alone and even started getting along with my neighbours puppy without any more nipping. Malasia has been a lifesaver in bringing back my dog to a calmer less reactive chihuahua.

My Pack
Living and training with multiple dogs provides daily insight into behaviour, communication, and pack dynamics. My dogs are active participants in my training journey and continue to shape my understanding of what dogs need to thrive.
They are not only companions, they are teachers, motivators, and the foundation of everything I have built.
Tuckered Out Training exists because of them, and because I believe every dog deserves a fulfilling life with their owner.
